Pointless info: So the title header for the read me may be a bit corny
but the map is I think one of my best(not to mention biggest). Others
may not think its the best map but that's the way ppl are. Some like
stuff and some don't. Oh well. I wont force ya to like my map.
I have also made a few new tiles to go with my map and will be uploaded to
TAMEC by the time you are reading this.(just some rivers for the desert
using lush world water)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Map info: This map has the room for 10 players and plenty of resources
in different concentrations around the map. The desert has a large concentration
of metal and the lush world had a lot more metal.
This map is made up of Jungle Assault 1-4 and I modified most of them
slightly. So enjoy battling in all the Jungle Assault maps at once!
With my best guess I say that the JA maps take up about 25-30% of the map's
terrain. The rest (desert and the rest of the lush world) I made by hand
spending at least 7 hours doing it. As for features, I spent at least 9 hours
placing them and 2 going over the map with a fine comb clearing up the
features so the map would look its best.
I have placed the trees rather dense throughout the lush section of the map to give
the jungle a better look and to create bottle necks. after all if you are fighting in
a jungle do you expect the trees to be spaced so all your units can get to where they
want to go without any trouble??
I have also put in some dead trees in the dryer areas of the desert to create the
illusion that this area was also part of this lush battle field at one time. A
possible reason for this is drought or forest fire combined with drought.
